I have an 8 yr. old Calico named Baley, or at least my wife says that is how it's spelled. I thought it to be Balee or B'lee (Klingon style), but the wife wanted the traditional spelling. I think pet names should be more artistic, or at least show something of the person doing the naming.

I agree! I've never been a fan of having regular names for animals, it just gets really confusing. But I also wanted to name my cat Jar Jar Binks so what do I know? Hahha.
